Hummingbird Bioscience Appoints Dipti Thakkar, PhD, as Chief Operating Officer
Singapore, 7 May 2025 – Hummingbird Bioscience, a biotherapeutics company discovering and developing transformative medicines for hard-to-treat diseases, today announced the internal appointment of Dipti Thakkar, PhD, as Chief Operating Officer.
Dr. Thakkar is promoted to Chief Operating Officer, from Vice President of Target Biology and Pharmacology. Dr. Thakkar, one of the company’s founding employees, joined the company in 2016 and built the company’s R&D capabilities from the ground up. Over the past decade, Dr. Thakkar has led scientific strategies and operations to drive the company’s therapeutic innovations and has enabled the advancement of multiple pre-clinical programs to clinical development. Dr. Thakkar was previously at Singapore’s National Neuroscience Institute, and the University of Oxford.
